SAVE KUT
Early in July, legendary KUT DJs Larry Monroe and Paul Ray got downsized (in favor of canned shows produced in California), and it's got lots of folks mighty mad. We've heard the rumblings in Dripping and received emails from Babble readers expressing their disgust for what's happening at KUT. If you've noticed the changes and are none too happy about them, stay abreast of the latest developments on savekutaustin.com.

August 27th was the 19th anniversary of Stevie Ray Vaughn's death. The old KUT would have stood right along side the community in wanting to pay homage to on of their favorite sons and dedicated an entire segment to his legacy. The new KUT, made passing mention of him in a recorded segment, injecting an anecdote by Larry Monroe as if he was a ghost from the past and not one of our presently living music legends. This was a glaring example of how truly out of touch the new management is with their listeners. This is not acceptable.
