DRIPPING MONDAY: THE WEEK AHEAD

On Thursday at 11:00AM at the Dripping Springs Community Library, storyteller Julie Zepeda shares the rich experience of stories, books and songs in Spanish for everyone in the family. Venga a la biblioteca para la diversion de los cuentos, los libros y las cantitas en espanol para toda la familia con Julie Zepeda.

If you've ever wondered about all this Facebook and MySpace chatter, wonder know more because on Thursday at 5:30PM at the library it's "Social Networks Exposed". Tatjana Versaggi and Sarah Lackey, two avid networkers, pass on the pros and cons of social networking to parents and people interested in what all of the hubbub is about. Social networking sites, including appropriate ones for kids, are flourishing. The more we all know, the better we can manage our own networking and help our children.

On Saturday from 9:00AM - Noon, it's the Dog Days of Summer. This first annual dog fair and festival at Founders Park is a day to bring the whole family including your dogs. There will be vendors from around the community including groomers, vets, trainers and others to help you provide the best for your beloved pet. PAWS Shelter and Humane Society will be out with some dogs to adopt, and Texas Hearing and Service Dogs will bring their dogs out for demonstrations. If you or your business would like to participate please contact info@hcbcds.com or call (512) 843-0035.
