DRIPPING WEEKEND

The Dripping Springs Farmers Market is this Saturday from 9:00AM - 11:00AM. The French have a word for the special flavor and characteristics that local earth and environment impart to what we eat and drink — terroir (tehr-WAHR). It makes locally grown food special, and no food anywhere else in the world can have quite the same taste because of it. Our local hard-working farmers, who just keep pressing on through this drought, bring the distinctive Dripping terroir to you on Saturday at The Triangle (RR12 & 290).
The Springs Family YMCA is hosting a Back to School Barbecue Bash on Saturday from 4:00PM - 8:00PM. This free community event promises food, fun, festivities, moon bouncers, waterslide, contests and more. For additional information, contact the Y at (512) 894-3309.
REMINDER! Residents and area business representatives are encouraged to complete the City's survey about the future direction of Dripping no later than August 15. To submit the confidential survey online (which is what we did), just go to the City of Dripping Springs website and look for the "Click Here to take survey" at www.cityofdrippingsprings.com.
