DRIPPING FUN: WILD WEST FEST SET FOR OCTOBER 24

Wild West Fest
, a western-inspired family fun day in Dripping has been set for Saturday, October 24 at Harrison Ranch Park, located on RR12 across from Dripping Springs Elementary School.  The day promises western-inspired activities and entertainment including a 4-H competition play day, carnival, and heritage games (Tug of War, Sack Races, Cow Patty Toss and Dummy Roping), as well as hay rides, Halloween pumpkins, and a haunted house. Wild West Fest will also host a chili cook-off, an old-fashioned pie contest, and a silent auction. Chow down on a plate full of BBQ while you relax and enjoy live music, or browse the local business booths whose offerings will reflect crafts and goods of agricultural and western life. All proceeds benefit local efforts to develop Harrison Ranch Park.

Event sponsors and in-kind donations are needed now. Sponsorship dollars and donations
are available at various levels of support and provide festival security, sanitation, barricades, tents, trash pick-up and publicity for the event. CallParks Coordinator Ashley Seay at (512) 858-4725 to find out how you can help today.
