FALLEN SOLDIER'S FUNERAL PROCESSION (FOLLOW-UP)
Word spread yesterday about the funeral procession for Spc Joshua Farris coming through town today, and Dripping mobilized. As the fallen soldier's family passed the flag-bearing groups lining the sides of 290, they waved and mouthed their thanks, but we can never thank them enough. We stood in front of Print Plus, owned by Pam Owens. Pam's Print Plus is the unofficial hub of our community, but not everyone knows she has a son serving in Afghanistan. Please keep Dripping's own and all of our men and women overseas in your prayers.

The Dripping community lines 290 to honor Spc Joshua Farris who was killed in Afghanistan on July 9.

I was in the procession, riding with the Patriot Guard Riders.
I cannot tell you how much of an impression the people of Dripping Springs made today. I don't know that I've ever been prouder to be a Texan.
You're efforts were noticed and greatly appreciated by all.
