At 5:30PM, the Dripping Springs Community Library (501 Sportsplex) helps teens get the jump on fall part-time jobs and volunteer opportunities, get comfortable with the job-hunting process, and find out what area employers want and will need in the fall of 2009. It's a perfect summer repast at Rolling in Thyme & Dough from 6:00PM - 9:00PM. Using organic vegetables picked fresh from Onion Creek Farm, Bella Verdi Farms, Harley Clark Farms and Bloom, all in Dripping Springs, the T&D gang will serve up Tomato Mozzarella Salad with Basil in a Balsamic Vinaigrette, Caramelized Mushroom & Onion Tart served with toasted baguette garlic toast points, Yogurt Dill Poached Salmon served with a Minted Chickpea Salad and Tabouli, Mediterranean Vegetarian Casserole (eggplant, zucchini, squash, potato and feta cheese in a fresh tomato sauce), Vegetable Lasagna (fresh local vegetables with a white sauce and cheeses), Quiche (Vegetable or Meat) served with side salad. Plus live music in the garden!
