DRIPPING (AND JUST BEYOND) WEEKEND
| Wimberley is having a free fireworks display on Friday at "dark thirty" (around 9:00PM). The show will happen near the South River Business Park in the 12000 Block of RR 12. (And while you're in the village, have a basket or 3 of the fried pickles at Inoz). For the latest information on the fireworks, visit Wimberley's website here. The second Dripping Springs Farmers Market happens Saturday from 9:00AM-11:00AM at The Triangle (12 & 290). Along with Onion Creek Farm and Bella Verdi Farms, word is egg, tomato, and beef vendors have been confirmed. For the Onion Creek Farm produce list, scroll down or click here. For you boot scooters, get your dance on at Twin Sisters Dance Hall Saturday night from 9:00PM - 1:00AM. For $6 admission, enjoy a great live band (this month it's Emmerson Biggins) at this historic dance hall. The hall is located 7 miles south of Blanco on Hwy 281, east (left) side. Turn in when you see the light on top of the Twin Sisters sign. You will not see the hall from the highway. Drive down the drive and there stands, since 1868, this marvelous gathering place. Thanks to Marianne for the tip and if you missed our Drip Trip to Twin Sisters earlier this year, click here. | ![]() Have a safe and happy Fourth of July! |
