LEARN ASL @ DSCL THIS WEEK!
When Babbler's Mother was young, the parents of her best friend were deaf, and because she always has something to say, she learned sign language. If you're curious about American Sign Language (ASL), expert signer Lisa Crawford is offering two programs this week at the Dripping Springs Community Library. Young people, teachers, businesspeople, and friends just like Babbler's Mother have an excellent opportunity to learn valuable ASL communication skills. On Wednesday at 2:00PM, Ms. Crawford presents "The Silent Language: ASL for Kids". On Thursday at 5:30PM, it's "Deaf Culture Awareness and ASL for Adults". Choose your program or attend both. The library is located at 501 Sportsplex. For more information call (512) 858-7825 or visit dscl.org.
