DRIPPING'S FIRST FARMERS MARKET WRAP-UP

The Dripping Springs Farmers Market got off to a rousing start on Saturday. For those local producers who showed up for the market's first shot out of the gate, they were rewarded by selling out fast (and from what we could tell just about completely) thanks to the early and enthusiastic turnout. We just received word from the City that they are working hard on getting even more vendors for the next market on July 4 and, as of this morning, a new tomato vendor is confirmed.

The first day of any venture is always a step into the unknown, but everyone's support for the very first market was certainly encouraging for the producers, and indicative of Dripping's community spirit.
