DRIPPING WEEKEND

Forget the heat for a bit with some Dripping fun this weekend.

After the first Dripping Springs Farmers Market, on Saturday morning from 9:00AM - 1:00PM at The Triangle (290 & RR 12), check out Eco Day
at the Henly South Volunteer Fire Department (12205 FM 2325) from 10:00AM - 5:30PM. Eco Day will feature a variety of experts speaking about what we can do to protect and preserve it for ourselves, our wildlife, and future Texans. One of the speakers, Bryan Davis, Natural Resource Agent, will assemble a "guzzler" before his presentation at 11:00AM. The guzzler, a portable rainwater collection setup for wildlife, is made of sheet metal, 2 X 4 lumber, and a 55-gallon drum. Bryan will have plans for anyone who is interested in constructing a guzzler and he will give one guzzler away as as a door prize. Get the complete schedule of speakers and more at hcrpo.org/eco-day_2009.
