DRIPPING THURSDAY

Many of us (points to self) have tossed around the term Feng Shui in moments of feigned coolness, but really have no idea what we're talking about. But because our Dripping Springs Community Library is actually cool, this evening nationally certified Feng Shui expert, Wenea Elia will share "Feng Shui Basics" at the library's Thursday chat. Literally translated "wind water", Feng Shui is an ancient system — developed over 3,000 years ago in China —- designed to promote positive change in your surroundings and, hence, your life.  Participants will discover how to create a happy, relaxing home. Wenea Elia is a graduate from the Western School of Feng Shui, and studied under the well-known master teacher and author Terah Kathryn Collins. The chat at Dripping Springs Community Library starts at 5:30PM at 501 Sportsplex.

Last Thursday's promised
Carbonades Flamandes (Belgian Beef Stew), the national dish of Fabienne's homeland makes its much-anticipated Thyme & Dough debut this evening along with Savory Veggie Dish a la Fabienne, Meat or Vegetable Lasagna, Meat or Vegetable Quiche, Mozzarella Salad with Basil in Balsamic Vinaigrette, and Side Salad. Dishes will be made with organic vegetables picked fresh from Onion Creek Farm and Bella Verdi Farms, and grass-fed beef from Red Barn Beef  — all in Dripping Springs! T & D is open Thursday evenings from 6:00PM - 9:00PM. (Trivial aside: Today is Queen Fabiola of Belgium's 81st birthday).
