DRIPPING MONDAY: THE WEEK AHEAD

For those interested in Leal Vineyards and its planned outdoor concert stage going in on Creek Road, a public hearing and possible ruling on the site plan is scheduled for Tuesday's City Council meeting. Starts at 7:00PM at City Hall (511 Mercer).

What's a bagua map? And, why are so many excited about Feng Shui? Nationally certified Feng Shui expert, Wenea Elia will share "Feng Shui Basics" at the library's Thursday chat. Literally translated "wind water", Feng Shui is an ancient system designed to promote positive change in your surroundings and, hence, your life.  Participants will discover how to create a happy, relaxing home using a personal bagua map. Wenea Elia is a graduate from the Western School of Feng Shui, and studied under the well-known master teacher and author Terah Kathryn Collins. The Thursday chat at Dripping Springs Community Library starts at 5:30PM at 501 Sportsplex.

Garage sale at Dripping Springs United Methodist on Friday and Saturday. Our love of thrift proclaimed, we will definitely be there
looking for treasures. At last year's sale, we came home with a beautiful, hand-turned wood bowl, glass orange vase, and a 1934 oil painting. And we got change back for our five dollar bill.
