A LAMENT FOR GIGI'S ON NATIONAL DOUGHNUT DAY

Today is, as declared by the powers that be, National Doughnut Day (presumably issued forth from the glazed inner sanctum of the Krispy Kreme/Dunkin Donuts cartel). Learning this brought back sweet memories of Gigi's blueberry doughnuts — the best blueberry doughnuts we've ever had, and we've had more than our share of blueberry doughnuts. We still miss you Gigi's.
