DRIPPING MONDAY: THE WEEK AHEAD
The Dripping Springs Community Library opens at Noon today. Closed from 9:00AM - Noon for training.
On Thursday, Dinner by the Bite (Summer Bites) happens at 6:30PM at Wilson Appliance (4205 E Highway 290). Local chefs demonstrate how to create signature dishes and you eat the results. On Sunday, inspire the artist within as Community Creative Alliance presents "Walk, Sit, Create". Meet other artistically inclined from 3:00PM - 6:00PM at Spring Bluff Center Courtyard (400 Hwy 290 West) with your medium, materials, cooler, and chair. Group with other participants or go alone. Art materials are provided for the ones without, or for those wanting to explore another medium. Suggested mediums include pencils, pens, paints, clay, collage and photography. Walk to your inspiration, sit, and create your artistic vision of Dripping Springs. Some images may be selected for an exhibit at the new county office. Participants will reconvene in July to celebrate your creations. This event is for amateur and artist alike, ages 10 to 100.
