DRIPPING WEEKEND
Our love of thrift has been proclaimed, so we'll no doubt be trolling the Rolling in Thyme & Dough (333 W. Hwy 290) "Yard Sale Extravaganza" on Friday and Saturday from 8:00AM - 3:00PM. T&D is promising antiques, housewares, furniture, quilts, clothes, collectibles, and more.

The Fire Fighter's Feast benefit for the Driftwood Volunteer Fire Department happens from 11:00AM - 3:00PM on Saturday . These men and women were part of the crew that saved a Babble family member's home from a fast moving grass fire. They are on call and volunteer to protect our homes. This benefit is a great and fun way to say thank you and help support our local volunteer fire fighters. Enjoy Salt BBQ (reason enough, there), live music, and much more from 11:00AM - 3:00PM. Location is the DVFD fire department (15850 FM 1826).
Fine Dine '09 also holds forth on Saturday from 6:00PM - 9:00PM at Creek Road Cafe. This benefit for the Montessori Country Day School of Dripping Springs promises an evening of culinary artistry with heavy hors d'oeuvres, representing a vast array of flavors from around the world. Featuring sounds from the Mediterranean, Texas Folk Music, and more. Tickets are $30 and include admission to the event, food, and music. Cash bar with fine wine, microbrew and imports.
