DRIPPING THURSDAY

On Thursday, the Dripping Springs library hosts a free, informative chat on "Carbon Footprints In Your Yard" at 5:30PM. Did you know that your healthy lawn and well-maintained lawn equipment can do more than create an appealing outdoor space? According to the Department of Energy, grass plantings are “one of the most promising ways for reducing the buildup of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere”. Andy Fogarasi will show you how to save the planet and your hard-earned dollars. The presentation will include a how-to demonstration of basic lawnmower maintenance. For more information call (512) 858-7825.
