ONION CREEK FARM STAND THIS FRIDAY!

Marianne will have an Onion Creek Farm Stand on Friday from 3:00PM - 6:00PM and it's a (certified organic) patriotic potato fest!

Red, white, and blue (actually sort of purple-blue) potatoes for your Memorial Day feasts (or you could do red and white potatoes in a blue bowl):
Red Thumb fingerling potatoes
Kipfel golden fingerling potatoes
French Red fingerling potatoes (limited amount of a delicate rosy pink small tuber)

The lack of rain early in the season, and the two late freezes,  have resulted in a pretty limited harvest of potatoes at the farm, so enjoy these fresh-dug gems while you can, there aren't many.

Also available:
Swiss Chard (may be the last time)
Red Beets (probably loose, without tops)
Onions (fresh pulled Yellow 1015 and Red)
French Shallots
Green Beans (just starting, limited)
Summer Squash
Lamb's Quarters (an excellent and nutritious green used as a spinach and chard substitute — try raw in salad, steamed, etc.)

Herbs:
Basil, Dill, Mint, Oregano, Rosemary, Garlic Chives

Farm Fresh Eggs

Pure Luck Goat Cheeses:
Chevre (plain, mixed herb, red pepper, cracked black pepper)
Del Cielo
Ste. Maure
