DRIPPING THURSDAY: RATATOUILLE AND CANADIAN/TEXAN ZEN POETRY

If you've never watched the movie Ratatouille*, you are missing a treat. If you've never eaten ratatouille, then a treat awaits this evening as Fabienne and the Thyme & Dough crew will be dishing up this Provencal vegetable dish. On the menu tonight are Ratatouille with Pork Tenderloin and Roasted New Potatoes or Penne Ratatouille with Grilled Tofu. Also on the menu is Lasagna a la Fabienne and Quiche a la Fabienne with Side Salad, and Tomato Mozzarella Salad. Rolling in Thyme & Dough is open for dinner, music, and getting together from 6:00PM - 9:00PM on Thursday evenings.

And if you've never heard the words of a “Canadian/Texan Zen Cowboy Poet”, then tonight is your chance. Neil Meili, best described as a “Canadian/Texan Zen Cowboy Poet", is the featured reader at Thirsty Thursday. Meili is a former director of the Austin International Poetry Festival. After Meili's reading, an “open mike” segment is planned. Anyone with poetry, music, stories and songs to share is welcome to do so.  Quench your soul and mind starting at 7:00PM at New Life Lutheran Church (120 Frog Pond Lane). For more call venue host Nancy Fierstien at (512) 858-2024.

*Has anyone ever looked under Fabienne's white hat? Just asking.
