QUICK DRIP: ROSE'S RAINWATER COLLECTION BILL PASSES HOUSE

Per NewsJournal.com Patrick Rose's (D-Dripping Springs) rainwater collection bill passed the house last Thursday. The proposal calls for buildings with roof areas of 10,000 square feet or more in areas of the state that receive at least 28 inches of rain per year to incorporate rainwater collection systems into their design. The bill also encourages cities and counties to provide incentives to promote rainwater collecting.
