QUICK DRIP: SPORTS NOTES

We typically don't cover Dripping high school sports news as other local outlets have that more than covered, but Dripping's forward Daniel Alexander committing to A&M has certainly not gone unnoticed. And the Lady Tigers softball team has apparently been playing hard and winning big. Perhaps not receiving as much news attention, but no less impressive, is the high school baseball team. On Friday, we received word that the Varsity boys were 13-0 in district and 21-2-0 overall and that they were playing their first playoff series this past weekend against Marble Falls. The boys took that three game bi-district series and now move on to the area series against Alamo Heights beginning Tuesday.
