DRIPPING THURSDAY: GETTING "FIREWISE" AND A REALLY LOCAL MEXICAN FIESTA

On Thursday, the Dripping Springs Community Library hosts a "Firewise" Chat with Jan Fulkerson, a Texas Forest Service specialist, who will share vital information on "firewise" landscaping and site design. Did you know that 85% of recent wildfires in Texas have occurred within two miles of a community. In the Dripping Springs area, most homeowners live in the Wildland Urban Interface, a place where subdivisions and businesses meet the surrounding forests and fields. Get "firewise" at this free, informative library chat starting at 5:30PM. For more information call (512) 858-7825.

Then, it's a really local Mexican Fiesta on Thursday night at Rolling in Thyme & Dough as Fabienne is using beef from Dripping's own Red Barn Beef and vegetables from Onion Creek Farm. Love that!

Menu is:
Stuffed Poblanos - Choice of Tofu and Kale with Walnut Cream Sauce and Rice or Beef with Mole Sauce and Rice
Enchiladas with Creamy Tomatillo, Veggie Black Beans and Rice - Choice of Chicken or Vegetable
Quesadilla with Side Salad- Choice of Chicken or Vegetable
Quiche with Side Salad

Thyme & Dough is open from 6:00PM - 9:00PM on Thursday night.
