FOUNDERS DAY GRAND PARADE: COME RAIN OR COME SHINE
In 1853, when the Wallace, Moss, and Pound families loaded up and headed out of Mississippi on their way to Texas and, eventually, Dripping Springs there were no McDonald's bathroom breaks along the rugged trail or Sponge Bob on the DVD player in the back of the wagon, and they certainly didn't let a little rain scare them from the good times ahead. The Founders Day Festival Grand Parade is happening tomorrow come rain or come shine! We checked in with the good folks in charge and were assured the parade will happen, and would be canceled only in the event "the weather is too dangerous", such as lightning or hail.
