DRIPPING THURSDAY: WRAP-UP
Thank you to the library for their ongoing Thursday speaker series. Elizabeth McIntosh of Bloom packed the house, and her chat on plants that work here in Dripping was informative and inspiring. We are ready to start planting (without fear). And thank you to the fabulous Marna, one of the attendees, who shared her homebrewed recipe for keeping the deer away from her plants:
Mix the following in 1 gallon of water:
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 tablespoon dishwashing soap
Spray plants every 6 days and after a rain.
Post-chat we rolled to Thyme & Dough who made the magic again. Sauce Chasseur? Mais oui!

Wasn't the energy and information amazing! Really, I had just about given up on my little hill country patch of ground and thought there would be only a handful of plants that would work. I came home with a great booklet and so many ideas. Thank you, Elizabeth!
