Thanks to the compassion of a lady truckdriver who found this purebred Boxer at a truck stop at the Oklahoma/Texas border, Dozer is alive. When she found him, he was so starved that he was a walking, furless skeleton. She brought him to PAWS, knowing they would take good care of him. She even made a donation to help take care of him. With regular meals, he has filled out and grown back all of his  fur. He loves people and will gently bulldoze his head into you to snuggle. That’s why his rescuer named him Dozer! This sweet dog has been brought back from the dead, and now that he is alive and well, it's time he found his forever home.

To learn more about Dozer and other wonderful dogs for adoption, call PAWS Tuesday through Sunday at 512-268-1611 or visit the shelter on Tuesdays from 11:00AM - 6:00PM, Wednesday - Sunday from 11:00AM - 5:00PM.  The current shelter is located at  500 FM 150 East in Kyle.

Babble founders have a merry menagerie of rescued dogs, incuding a couple of darlings from PAWS Animal Shelter. Currently located in Kyle, PAWS is building a new, larger shelter in Dripping Springs because, unfortunately, the homeless animal population continues to grow. We want to help spread the word about the special, smart, and loving dogs now available for adoption.
