Consider yourself an artist or a patron of the arts? Well, this dog is a work of art! Her Catahoula Leopard genes give her a truly spectacular coat, with splashes of movement and color. Coupled with her striking partially blue eye? Extraordinary. Lani was caught in a feral cat trap so Animal Control brought her to the shelter. When we last visited with Lani she was still insecure and unsure, crouching on her belly in fear and in need of coaxing to be on a leash, But this one is beauty and brains and she is improving every day. To feel safe, she might hide behind you, and really appreciates love and affection. She is an excellent listener who loves to just listen to you talk.

To learn more about Lani and other wonderful dogs for adoption, call PAWS Tuesday through Sunday at 512-268-1611 or visit the shelter on Tuesdays from 11:00AM - 6:00PM, Wednesday - Sunday from 11:00AM - 5:00PM.  The current shelter is located at  500 FM 150 East in Kyle.

Babble founders have a merry menagerie of rescued dogs, incuding a couple of darlings from PAWS Animal Shelter. Currently located in Kyle, PAWS is building a new, larger shelter in Dripping Springs because, unfortunately, the homeless animal population continues to grow. We want to help spread the word about the special, smart, and loving dogs now available for adoption.
