DRIPPING GARDENS: PLANTING FOR A RAINY DAY

We see the weatherfolk saying a chance of rain is on its way (please!), so we want to get plants in the ground. We just checked with Elizabeth at Bloom to see what's hot and happening there right now and she's got lots of xeriscape plants, both in 4" and 1 gallon. Also, new herbs, and the first batch of tomatoes and peppers. Two of us were at Rolling in Thyme & Dough for dinner last night and roamed the Bloom grounds. We can attest to loads of healthy, beautiful Central Texas-appropriate plants. We're playing (with) spades this weekend!
