PAWS PET OF THE WEEK: JIXER THE BOXER MIX

Jixer
Boxer/Pit Mix
Cell Dog Program trained
Ready for adoption!
Babble founders have a merry menagerie of rescued dogs, incuding a couple of darlings from PAWS Animal Shelter. Currently located in Kyle, PAWS is building a new, larger shelter in Dripping Springs because, unfortunately, the homeless animal population continues to grow. We want to help spread the word about the wonderful, special, smart, and loving dogs now available for adoption from PAWS. This week, we introduce you to Jixer, a fun and full of life Boxer/Pit mix who happens to be deaf. Jixer has received sign language training from the fantastic Cell Dog Program, but needs someone to give him a happy, permanent home and continue his training.

To learn more about Jixer and the other wonderful dogs and cats for adoption  of all sizes, ages, capabilities, breeds and mixes call PAWS Tuesday through Sunday at 512-268-1611. Visit the shelter on Tuesdays and Thursday from 11:00AM - 7:00PM, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00AM - 5:00PM (the current shelter is located at  500 FM 150 East in Kyle). Or learn more about PAWS, adoptable dogs and cats, volunteer opportunities plus information on the upcoming Bone Appetit event at
