DEFINITELY FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
 | At the Annual Meeting of the
Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library earlier this week,
President Sheryl Baker (right) presented a check for $6,500 to Library Director
Cara Russell, reflecting money raised from December's Tour of Homes and
Friends membership dues. Russell said the funds would keep the library
headed as it is, "in the right direction." And that direction is a
circulation up 30 %, a total of 1,134 new patrons are now borrowers,
and the facility welcomed 64,301 visitors in the past year. If you don't already have a library card, get one! (Note: Since our post, the library has gotten some fancy-schmancy new cards!) |
