DRIPPING EVENT: WILD GAME DINNER IS THIS SATURDAY

Reminder that this Saturday is the 19th Annual Dripping Springs Wild Game Dinner and Charity Auction. Grammy award-winning country singer Rick Trevino will be the featured musical entertainment. Trevino has charted a total of fourteen singles on the Billboard “Hot Country Songs” charts, and recorded seven studio albums. True to its name, this year’s menu promises a veritable potpourri of wild eats including venison, elk, fallow deer, white tail deer, pronghorn antelope, feral hog, and pheasant gumbo. Also, the fine families from the  Dripping Springs United Methodist Church (DSUMC) will be providing hundreds of delicious desserts. The annual dinner and auction hosted by the United Methodist Men of  DSUMC uses proceeds from the event to support the mission  projects of the DSUMC and the Hays County community as a whole. This year,  beneficaries of the charity event are the Friends Foundation, Dripping Springs Helping Hands, Hill Country Senior Citizens Activity Center, and the Burke Center For Youth.
Advance tickets may be purchased today at the discounted price of $20 for adults ($5 for kids aged 12 and younger), but wait until the night of the event and tickets are $25 for adults ($5 for the kids). Whether $20 or $25 (and just $5 for kids), that spread of food plus Rick Trevino honestly sounds like a whole lotta bang for your buck!
