DRIPPING ART: ART SPEAKS
![]() |
We love original, creative thinkers and the sisters behind “Art Speaks” are just that. Local realtor, Susan Johnson, and her sister Lisa Elkins, a graphic designer, have taken their love of art to another level by creating a new program for creative types in the Dripping Springs ISD. With their “Art Speaks Youth Collaborative Program”, a rotating gallery of original art created by DSISD students, in company with other local artists, will adorn the walls of Keller-Williams new Dripping Springs office, where Susan works. The program ultimately hopes to raise funds to give directly to the five DSISD art departments to help them purchase needed art supplies for the classrooms. |
| Susan invites the community to contact her for a special tour or just pop into the office when convenient to check out the latest local art. Those appreciative of the students’ art and the “Art Speaks” effort can make donations payable to ART SPEAKS YOUTH ARTWORK COLLABORATIVE FOUNDATION c/o Pioneer Bank; or bring it by the Keller-Williams office and Susan will be happy to handle the donation for you Note: Susan Johnson and Keller-Williams will celebrate the grand opening of the new (and art-rich) Dripping Springs office on March 5th. Also, on the next night, Lisa Elkins has helped organize a Texas Hold 'Em benefit at the Terrace Club, proceeds to help a local family. Get all the details in "Events" on DrippingThings.com. |
