DRIPPING POLITICS: 3 CITY COUNCIL SEATS UP FOR ELECTION IN MAY

As we understand it, at tonight's city council meeting an election for the 3 city council seats will be called for May. If no applications for the seats are received by March 9th, the election will be cancelled on March 10th. No one has challenged a council seat for the last 2 years. As we also understand it, to be on the city council, residency within the city limits for just 6 months is required.
