DRIPPING TEA: HIGH TEA AND AFTERNOON TEA NOW AT THE BIG DRIP

Back in December we lamented that Dripping Springs, sadly, was not dripping with smoked salmon. Our local market dismay at the time was because we were having a Christmas tea for some of the ladies in our family and we longed for smoked salmon tea sandwiches on our tea menu. But we soldiered on with a myriad other tea sandwiches and scones with (mock) Devonshire cream and tartlets and, of course, tea. We love the ceremony of teas and the bite-sized treats of teas and we just about screamed like a boiling kettle upon just receiving an announcement from The Big Drip that they are now presenting "Tammy's Tea Room" with Afternoon Tea and High Tea. Tammy's teas promise your favorite teas, tea sandwiches, savory soups, scones with Devonshire cream and sweet preserves, and desserts.

Monday through Friday, "Afternoon" tea will be served at 10:00AM, Noon, and 2:00PM while High Tea will be served at 6:00PM. On Saturdays, tea is at 12:30PM and 2:30PM. Please note that the teas are by reservation only. Call Tammy Myers at 512-858-7500 or 512-289-0767 to make your reservations.
