DRIPPING EVENTS: THIS WEEKEND

On Saturday, the Dripping Springs Community Library honors Janie Botkin. Ms. Botkin was a member of the Dripping Springs High School faculty from 1989 until 2008. Under her direction, and over the years, the DSHS Honors English I class published 15 volumes of A Historical Collection of Dripping Springs and North Hays County. The unveiling of the library's new collection of historical resources and event to honor Ms. Botkin starts at 11:00AM at the library located at 501 Sportsplex. And if you don't already have a library card, get one!

From 4:00 - 6:00PM on Sunday, the 2009 Dripping Springs Relay for Life kicks off at Memory Lane Pavilion.  Come sign up your team for the May relay and join in the fun to help support cancer prevention and research. Bring your friends and family. Refreshments served. To learn more about  "Relay for Life", the American Cancer Society's signature annual event, click here.
